Franklin County Commissioners Meeting in which Angela Harris (County Manager) and commissioners, faced questions from their public.

Franklin County Commissioners Meeting in which Angela Harris (County Manager) and commissioners, faced ANGRY questions from their public.

“It didn’t come up to no vote. I can answer that one. I knew we didn’t vote on that one. Not that I know of. I hope Ms. Angela Harris will try to communicate with them how you made that decision or who told you to…?”
- A Franklin County Commissioner Harry L. Foy

Any time frame for the written response? She doesn’t appear to have appreciated the public interest and outrage. Perhaps, she thinks if she leaves it long enough, it will all blow over.

Why do she have to write her response? Does she need time to put together a novel to defend her renegade actions? Frankly, I’m disgusted to be a Franklin County citizen. So much corruption coming from our local government officials, that it’s pathetic. Our hard earned tax dollars are being used to pay the salaries of those who lie to, mislead, steal from, and ignore the people of our county. Something has to be done. How do you destroy documents that could clearly shed light on issues of injustice? I will be attending the next commissioners meeting, and I will be asking who’s going to take ownership in this hideous matter.

I don’t even live in Franklin County. I live in the Mountains of NC, but this story has made it’s way all over the Western Part of the State. What a shame. What a terrible shame this was allowed to happen. That these documents and files were put in the incinerator.

This is Franklin County-gate. I am watching this situation with great interest in New Jersey. Very suspicious acts under cover of darkness committed by elected officials and the state’s Attorney General needs to enter the picture and investigate. This must be investigated.

Thanks for your comments. I agree with you. Unfortunately after following this story since the beginning of December and seeing how its gone, the only response I can come up with to “the state’s Attorney General needs to …investigate” is GOOD LUCK WITH THAT.
